Frequently Asked Questions
- How long is the Normandy D-Day tour?
- From Paris, a full day (~13 hours round trip). In-region (cruise port or local hotel), 7-9 hours. Multi-day options with overnight in Bayeux are also available.
- Where is the pickup?
- Your Paris hotel, or any hotel or cruise port in Normandy (Le Havre, Honfleur, Cherbourg, Caen, Bayeux). Specify at booking and your chauffeur meets you directly.
- Is a guide included? Can we add one?
- A guide is not included by default. Our tour is a private chauffeur day: you explore each memorial at your own pace using the on-site signage. If you would like a guide, tell us in the form and we can try to find one among our partners, but availability depends heavily on your date and cannot be guaranteed. You are also free to book your own guide online, who can then join us during the tour.
- Can we customise the itinerary?
- Yes. Standard sectors are American (Omaha, Utah, Pointe du Hoc), British or Canadian (Gold, Sword, Juno). We can also follow family history if a relative fought in the campaign.
- What about Pointe du Hoc renovations?
- Pointe du Hoc is partially under renovation through 2027. If access is restricted on the day, the chauffeur substitutes the nearby Longues-sur-Mer battery so the day stays complete.
- How many people can join the private tour?
- Tours are private and exclusive to your group. We accommodate from 1 to 8 passengers in our Mercedes vans. For larger groups, contact us for a 16-seater coach quote.
